The  lane  leading  to  Kendon  Farm  serves  just  the  farm   and   Vogwell   Cottage   and   as   far   as   Vogwell   Cottage   the   lane   is   Devon   County   Council   maintained.     Vogwell   Cottage   is   in   a   beautiful   quiet   setting   with   views   over   fields   to   Easdon   Tor   and   with   excellent   access   to   moorland   and   countryside   walks.      The   cottage  is  about  0.4  of  a  mile  from  Long  Lane  which   enables      quite      easy      access      to      Chagford,   Moretonhampstead   and   Bovey   Tracey   as   it   winds   across   the   moorland   countryside.      There   are   two   moorland  towns  each  about  4  miles  away  and  these   are  Chagford  and  Moretonhampstead,  both  of  which   offer   a   wide   variety   of   day   to   day   and   specialist   shops,   pubs,   hotels,   tea   rooms   and   cafes,   primary   schooling,   pre   schooling,   doctors,   dentists   and   veterinary   surgeries.      Both   have   excellent   sports   facilities.    Vogwell  Cottage  is  approximately  20  miles   from  Exeter  and  the  A30  and  A38  dual  carriageways   would  each  be  about  8  miles  away.
